Matilda the Musical tickets will go on sale on February 1, 2020!
Howard High School proudly presents "Matilda the Musical!" based on the beloved children's book by author Roald Dahl.
Matilda is no ordinary 5 year old. Sadly neglected by her parents the Wormwoods, Matilda escapes through books and through magical stories she tells to the local librarian Mrs. Phelps, about a circus magician & acrobat deeply in love. Matilda's adventures begin on her first day of school, where she meets the compassionate but haunted Miss Honey, her quirky classmates, and the evil Miss Trunchbull- an Olympic hammer-throwing champion who tortures students to stay in shape. Even though Matilda's incredible mental powers quickly shine in school, it seems unlikely that even the sweet Miss Honey can help her. What can Matilda do, with a criminal father, a ballroom-dancing obsessed mother, and an evil principal out to get her? What deep dark secrets is Matilda's amazing brain trying to reveal to her? And what can one small kid really do when life is so unfair?
Come find out in this dramatic, suspenseful and fantastical musical great for families of all ages, coming to the Howard High School stage on Feb 27, 29 & March 1!

SNOW CANCELLATION POLICY:
All performances are subject to the HCPSS Weather Cancellation Decisions. Decisions to cancel after school or weekend activities are typically made with only 1 day or less notice. You can check HCPSS Weather Decisions at their website link: https://status.hcpss.org/
Unfortunately, there are NO REFUNDS for tickets bought online.
If you purchased tickets online for a cancelled performance, you can exchange that ticket for either a) an added snow make-up performance or b) use the ticket, which will be honored as a General Seating ticket, at any of the other remaining performances of "Matilda the Musical."
*RESERVED SEATS- if you purchase reserved seats at a cancelled performance, you will automatically be offered the exact same reserved seating tickets at the corresponding added snow makeup date. You can choose to make that exchange, OR you are welcome to attend another performance date if any remain, and your tickets become General Seating instead.
Unfortunately, NO REFUNDS can be given, even if the patron is unable to attend the snow make-up or other performance options.
In the event of a performance being cancelled, we will make every effort to reschedule and add a "snow make-up" show date. However, there is no guarantee of the total number of make-up dates that can be added, and in the unlikely event that the closing performance is cancelled and no snow date can be added, there are still no refunds. All online ticket purchases go towards fundraising for future Howard Theatre productions.
